• Suat Tuzgöl (1966)

  Founder and CEO
  Suat is the driving force behind DISC bv. Thanks to him DISC has become the Full Service Provider that gives developers and publishers the opportunity to offer protected digital content.
  
  He is responsible for the daily management and determines the overall strategy of DISC BV.; he is also the creative thinker. Suat is a full blooded entrepreneur, and has, as founder of DISC BV, vast experience with the sales and distribution of digital content. Until 2001 Suat worked as a doctor in several hospitals. He got his medical degree at the UvA-AMC.

• Ton Kersbergen (1941)

  In 1967 Ton Kersbergen started working with engineering company "Koning en Hartman" in Delft. The successful expansion of the company resulted in the position of General Director at Koning en Hartman. After the takeover by Getronics in 1992 he became member of the management for the Netherlands, his responsibility being a large number of operating companies active in the market segments telecommunication and industrial automation.
  He has had many years of social involvement as branch and federation chairman for the FHI, an interest group for technical manufacturers.
  
  Kersbergen is director of Acura Performance Management, mainly involved in the counseling and coaching of starting and new starting companies. He is commissioner/advisor at a number of technical companies. As chairman for the Made in Holland Foundation he works together with Deloitte to strengthen the position of The Netherlands as a production country.

• Jan Docter (1950)

  From 1975 till 1978 Jan Docter was active as teacher of economics and as policy maker for the Ministry of Finance. Next he moved to trade and industry and held several (international) positions at Philips (Polygram); he was also member of the board of directors of Centrafarm, a pharmaceutical company. From 1988 till 2003 Docter was CFO and vice chairman of the board of directors of Getronics.
  Since then Docter has been self employed as advisor of, and co-investor in a couple of small and medium-sized companies. From 2005 till 2006 he was also interim member of the board of directors at Corio NV, an international real estate company. He was also part of the group that invested in Bookings.com. Additionally he was member of the board, and one of those responsible for the successful sale of Priceline Inc. in the US. Currently Docter is still connected to Priceline Inc. as an advisor.
  
  Besides his professional activities en positions he is also chairman of the Neeff-Tongre Foundation, a foundation devoted to the visually handicapped. He also gives guest lectures on controlling to post doctorate students.

• Cees Broekhoven (1940)

  The background of Cees Broekhoven is also impressive. Since 2003 he's a member of the government of the province Noord-Holland; as a member of the Provincial Council he's part of the following Provincial Council Committees: Economics, Agriculture, Europe and the "Rekeningencommissie".
  He's also a member of the general board of the Chamber of Commerce of Amsterdam and the VNO/CNW Amstel en Meerlanden. Additionally Broekhoven is chairman of: Zakenband, Centre for Business and Society Haarlemmermeer (CBSH), the Kring van 100 and the RvC Brantjes Nijsen groep. Finally he is vice chairman of the Industrial Club Haarlemmermeer (ICH) and member of the board of supervisors of Ons Tweede Thuis (OTT). Previously Cees Broekhoven was the director of Rabobank Haarlemmermeer (renamed Rabobank Regio Schiphol) and councilman for Haarlemmermeer.

• Marjolein Keijser

  Communications Manager
  In 1997 Marjolein got her masters degree in Movie and Television Science, she specialized in New Media. Amongst others she’s been employed as a product manager at a games distributor and a category manager at Shop.nl. Her projects include the web coordination of the city of Hillegom’s website and the production of the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival. With an extensive background in new and old media, and knowledge of the various multimedial applications, she’s completely in her element at ESDNOW.

• Johan Scheffel

  Business Development Manager
  With more than 25 years of sales experience in national and international publishing houses at companies like SDU and IDG (International Data Group), Johan is responsible for strategic business alliances and for taking DISC bv, ESDNOW and ResearchSoftware to the next era. Over the last 6,5 years he managed the Benelux region at Aladdin Knowledge Systems for Software DRM products (software protection and licensing).

• Dušan Križan

  Senior Developer
  With a degree in Mathematics and Physics and a broad knowledge of Java, J2EE, EJB, Oracle(+pl/sql) and Unix related systems, Dušan has the know-how to develop the right e-commerce solution for your digital content. Dušan already designed several online shops, and acquired the necessary expertise in security and cryptography at eBanka. Your digital content is safe with him.

• Hakan Uyar

  Sales & Support Manager
  Hakan is ESDNOW's contact in Turkey. With 5 years experience as a trainer and project consultant for government projects, he knows the ropes. After obtaining his masters degree in Geological Engineering at the Hacettepe University, he developed into a software expert and a Microsoft Certified Professional. If you are in Turkey, or one of it's surrounding countries, Hakan will manage your project.

• Kadir Diren

  Sales & Support Engineer
  Kadir is ESDNOW's contact in Turkey. and has 3 years experience as a trainer and project consultant for government projects. After obtaining his education in Geological Engineering at the Hacettepe University, he developed into a Microsoft Certified Professional. If you are in Turkey, or one of it's surrounding countries, Kadir is your man.

History

ESDNOW is a division of DISC BV, a Dutch private company founded in 2001. DISC BV is a daughter company of DISC Holding BV, founded in the same year. Founder of the company is Suat Tuzgöl.

DISC is engaged in the marketing, distribution and support of various software applications, including database research software for universities, scientific libraries, the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, governments and technological institutions like TNO and RIVM. DISC is the exclusive distributor for a number of highly used research software products in the Benelux and Turkey. DISC's "traditional" software distribution is done through the division Researchsoftware.nl. Researchsoftware.nl has a large number of clients, a short overview can be found here.

The activities of ESDNOW.com have started in 2004. ESDNOW, an operating company of DISC, is the first and only supplier in the Benelux of a completely integrated platform for software protection, internet activation and electronic software distribution based on DRM-technology. Publishers of digital content like software, games, audio, audio books and video are assured of the maximum protection of their intellectual property and the smooth sales and distribution of their digital products through the ESDNOW Media Distribution Platform.
